Our Cammeray house still has the original switchboard — does it need replacing?
Not necessarily illegal to keep, but if it's ceramic fuses or an early breaker board with no RCDs, you have no safety switch protection at all. Any new or altered circuit now has to be RCD protected, so in practice most upgrades trigger a full board replacement.
Is installing an EV charger straightforward for a Cammeray house?
