Why does our safety switch keep tripping with nothing obviously wrong?
On 1960s–70s wiring it's usually a slowly degrading circuit — often somewhere damp, like an outdoor or garage circuit — leaking a small amount of current. We isolate circuits individually to find it rather than replacing parts on a guess.
